Hosted By
About Event
Toronto is in rapid flux. We're in a construction boom: New subway lines, new GO train stations, new buildings sprouting daily in the downtown core. The city is evolving at a pace that is often hard to fathom.
On this tour, we will be joined by one of Toronto's most knowledgeable transit experts, Reece Martin, to see this transformation in real time. We will visit several new subway stations in progress, walk along the re-routed Don River, see what the fuss is about with data centers, and make sense of several unwieldy construction sites together.

Duration: 3hrs
Starting Location: The tour begins at One Queen Street East, on the south-east corner of Yonge & Queen.
Ending Location: Jimmy Simpson Park. Immediately after the tour concludes we will all head to a nearby pub to eat, drink, and continue the conversation about Toronto's transit.
Price: This tour operates on a pay-what-you-can basis. There is a $2 booking fee to secure your spot on the tour. At the end of the tour, you can pay whatever you feel the tour was worth (cash or card both accepted). Most guests choose to pay between $25 - $40 per person.
