About
About Wygo:
Wygo is an accelerator, support network, and set of tools for community builders. We want to help people connect IRL, and are starting this summer by making it easier to start, scale and join communities in Kitchener-Waterloo. π
About 8 Hosts, 1 Summer, 1 'Loo:
We're bringing together some of the region's most exciting early-stage community builders to share ideas, learn from each other, build their audiences, make some money, and host awesome events that make this a summer to remember.
The cohort will run this summer from July 2-August 20th, with weekly drop-in office hours (freezies on the house π) to talk strategy with Wygo and other local hosts.
Each host will be expected to host a minimum of 1 event, backed by the full support of Wygo's team -- we'll help you find venues, look for sponsorships, sell tickets, do promotion, get quality feedback and set things up on the day of.
Whether you're a former camp-counsellor, a current community host, OR just someone with a vision for what you want to see in the real world, we're here to support you in bringing Summerloo 2025 to life.
This form shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to complete and will close on June 25th.
We're looking for ~4 more hosts / groups to join the cohort. All group members should submit their own application.
Hosts will by accepted by June 27th and onboarded on July 2nd.
