25 Stations, 25 Stories
About Event
[Click here for link to Jane's Walk listing]
There's more than meets the eye to Eglinton...
We all know about the Eglinton Crosstown. 15 years of construction, hundreds of decimated businesses, and communities left perpetually wondering what the line would mean for their spaces. Now, the line has opened.
It's finally time to capture the stories that lie along Eglinton.
Join me as I talk about the 25 stations on Line 5, the cool little things that most people may not know about, and connect the dots on what this stretch of Toronto says about our city. You'll get a chance to ride the LRT like a tourist, get some stamps of Line 5 stations, and might even get a taste of some classic Toronto comfort food?
Topics that may be covered:
Architecture
Stamp culture (wait, WHAT?)
Community stories
Arts and culture
Nature
Transit [OF COURSE]
...and more!
Unable to make the event?
I'll also be hosting a digital version of this walk, which will also go into more detail into each of the 25 stations! [LINK TO BE UPLOADED SOON].

Walking Conditions
This is a Jane's Walk that will involve a mix of transit (riding the LRT) and walking. As a result, there will be a cost to entering the TTC. This is around CA$3.30 for an Adult fare. I recommend using a Presto card to manage payment. A contactless credit/debit card works as well.
If this is an issue, please reach out to me and we can discuss alternatives.
Please dress for the weather. Prepare to stand outside for 10 minutes at a time.
Washrooms
There is a Tim Horton's nearby Laird station, and we will stop for a break there for anyone who needs it. There are also washrooms at Aga Khan Museum. However, I recommend you go before the walk starts if possible.
Number of Tickets
This event is limited to ~40 attendees to manage crowd size. If this event gets oversubscribed and you're not able to attend please cancel your registration to let others go!
Location

About The Hosts
Allen is a user experience designer and urban enthusiast born and raised in the City of Toronto. Allen designs experiences and artifacts that make things feel more human, with a special focus on underserved groups.
Allen is excited to bring to life his newest artifacts: a series of 3D stamps and a physical/digital local guide for TTC's Line 5. He hopes these artifacts (and this tour involving his learnings!) can unleash a sense of whimsy and exploration in communities that have traditionally been overlooked.
You can find him at www.allen.lu.
