Toronto's 12,000 Year History
Hosted By
About Event
When you think of "Toronto" what comes to mind? The Leafs? The CN Tower? Traffic on the Gardiner?
This tour will show you a different Toronto entirely. Ours is a city of extraordinary natural wonder: Toronto's landscape was shaped by ancient glaciers and prehistoric lakes, we have the largest ravine system in the world. Together we will explore this rich ecological history, walking through multiple ravines, seeing several buried rivers, exploring Toronto's ancient shoreline, and learning about the many people who have called this place home over the past 12,000 years.
You won't be able to see the city the same way ever again.
