PowerPoint Night
About Event
A social night for sharing a little more about ourselves and getting to know each other beyond our usual conversations!
PowerPoint Night is your chance to make a short presentation about something you care about, know a lot about, or simply want to talk about.
It can be personal, funny, thoughtful, educational, niche, or completely random.
You could talk about:
The books you love to read
A book you have been wanting to talk about
What you do for work and what your job actually involves
A hobby or interest you really enjoy
Something you know a surprising amount about
A place you have travelled to or want to visit
A ranking or opinion you feel strongly about
A topic you wish more people knew about
A project you are working on
Something that has been on your mind lately
The topic is completely up to you.
This is not about being a great presenter or creating the perfect PowerPoint. It is really just an excuse to share something with the room and let people get to know you a little better.
This event is pay what you can, and $0 is always an option. Anything contributed goes back into supporting The Margins Club and future events, but I always want the events to feel accessible to everyone.
